The program offers two routes: a non-refundable $350,000 contribution to the National Treasury or an $800,000 subscription to a government bond created for the program. Spouses and children can also qualify through additional contributions.

The government said the proceeds will be used to strengthen Argentina's fiscal and financial position.

The program comes as Argentina seeks to attract more foreign investment after trailing Brazil and Mexico last year.
