Global Blue's board has recommended that all shareholders tender their shares into the offer, which will remain open through one minute after 11:59 pm ET June 5, but may be extended further.

Shift4 Payments said the depositary and paying agent for the tender offer has reported that roughly 232.2 million shares have been validly tendered, representing about 97% of the issued and outstanding shares.

The company expects the transaction to close by Q3.
