He replaces Joe Dwyer, who will step down on May 31, as previously announced.

Jiwani is currently the chief operating officer, director, and a major shareholder of Avisar Everyday Solutions. Golden Minerals uses Avisar for some of its accounting needs, and Jiwani will serve as CFO through this partnership.
