Top Cryptocurrencies Fall; Bitcoin Holds Above $90,000 Level

The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, fell 0.9% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq climbed 0.7%, the S&P 500 added 0.5%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.6%.

Bitcoin fell 0.8% to $90,749, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume dropped 7.8% to $60.3 billion.

Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, gained 0.3% to $3,037.

XRP (XRP-USD) shed 1.9%, BNB (BNB-USD) lost 1.5%, and Solana (SOL-USD) fell 3.6%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) eased 2.6%, and Cardano (ADA-USD) declined 3.3%.

The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry fell 0.7% in the past 24 hours to $3.09 trillion, with trading volume dropping 0.9% to $192.33 billion.
