The transaction adds about $31 billion in assets under supervision across 171 ETFs, the company said.
Goldman Sachs said its asset management division now manages about 240 ETFs globally with assets under supervision of $90 billion.
More than 70 employees from Innovator Capital Management joined Goldman Sachs, the company said.
Shares of Goldman Sachs were 2.4% lower in Thursday premarket trading.
