US Payroll Outlook Lifts Wall Street Pre-Bell; Asia, Europe Mixed

The non-farm payrolls report for May is slated for an 8:30 am ET release.

In the futures, the S&P 500 rose 0.4%, the Nasdaq inclined 0.4% and the Dow Jones was up 0.3%.

Asian exchanges traded unevenly overnight, while European bourses were steady midday on the continent.

Tesla (TSLA) traded up 4.1% pre-bell on media reports that President Donald Trump and Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk plan to end their public feud.

On the economic calendar, in addition to the jobs report, is the weekly Baker Hughes domestic oil-and-gas rig count at 1 pm ET.

In premarket action, Bitcoin traded at $103,858, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded higher at $63.40, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.39%. Spot gold traded for $3,358 an ounce.
