The Freeport liquefied natural gas export terminal in the U.S. is now targeting the restart of all production lines in early August, the bank noted, citing a Bloomberg report.

Meanwhile, energy giant TotalEnergies warned about weak demand adding further downward pressure on European natural gas prices, ANZ Bank said.

After recording losses in the previous session, the benchmark Title Transfer Facility front-month natural gas price in Europe rose 3.2% to 32.81 euros per megawatt-hour at last look early Friday.

North Asia LNG prices also declined despite the prospect of strong demand, the bank said.
