Holiday Caution Caps Wall Street; Asia Mixed, Europe Up

In the futures, the S&P 500, the Nasdaq, and the Dow Jones were little changed, hewing close to Wednesday closes.

The nation's bond markets close at 2 pm ET, on holiday break.

Asian exchanges traded choppily overnight, while European bourses tracked moderately higher midday on the continent.

RH (RH) traded up 8.8% pre-bell, after the luxury homeware retailer issued strong guidance late Wednesday.

Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) and BRP (DOOO) plan to report earnings pre-bell, among others.

On the economic calendar is the weekly jobless claims report at 8:30 am ET, along with the revised Q4 GDP and Q4

corporate profits reports.

The Chicago PMI posts at 9:45 am, followed by the University of Michigan's March consumer sentiment bulletin, and the February pending home sales index, at 10 am.

The weekly EIA domestic natural gas supplies report posts at 10:30 am, followed by the Kansas City Fed Manufacturing Index for March at 11 am.

The weekly Baker Hughes domestic oil-and-gas rig count posts at 1 pm.

In pre-market action, Bitcoin traded at $70,566, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded higher at $82.16, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.22%. Spot gold traded for $2,212 an ounce.
